The iconic holy grail bag is the Chanel Classic Flap. Coveted for its simplicity and elegance - woven chain double strap that can be worn short or long, turnlock CC clasp, lambskin interior.

With a double flap, or another flap on the interior, this bag has an extra flat pocket underneath the main compartment, an extra hidden pocket behind the interior flap.

The double flap provides more structure but less space than its single flap counterparts (although medium and small classic flaps only come in double flaps).

Interior features two open side pockets.

In black caviar leather and shiny gold hardware. In caviar leather, the classic flap is durable with the pebbled grain nodes of calfskin leather.

The small size is 9 inches wide, a size right in between the rectangular mini (8 inches) and medium flap (10 inches). It is a size that is harder to find. 26 million series serial number, fall 2018 production.
